2013 was without a doubt one great year in cinema history! In a year filled with great movies and huge surprises it was really hard to pick my ten favorite ones but after thinking a little bit I am finally ready to reveal my Top 10 movies of 2013!

Note: Here in Portugal some of the Oscar nominees of 2012 premiered in January and February. I did not include them in this list because I am considering only movies that premiered in the United States of America this year. You may notice the absence of names like “American Hustle” and “12 Years a Slave”, but they will only premiere in January of 2014 so this list will be updated before the Oscars ceremony.
